Dear Mom & Dad, I know it's been a long time and maybe I should start by saying I'm sorry. Running off with Jimmy was not my most calculated move. However, I knew it was my chance to get out and see the world. I knew you wouldn't support it and I'm sorry I made you worry. It really has been for the best and I'm so much happier living in the big city (sans Jimmy). He didn't hang around for long (much like you predicted, Mom!). Dad, you'll be happy to know that I've been playing my guitar. I'm almost ready to trade her in for an acoustic, though! I've started playing in a band (The Atomic Kitties) and we've gathered a little following here. I have a few days off from work and would like to come visit. I hope you're not still mad and that you'll have me. I've sent you a few pictures so that you'll recognize me when I show up on your doorstep. As you can see, I've made a few changes!
